The AOD is a pretty shitty trans from the factory but this summer I'll be rebuilding it with some real nice performance parts, hardened input shafts, alto bands/clutches, high-performance OD servo, lentech valvebody, and a 2600/2800rpm stall TC. Should help me keep up with the 5spds. @newls - Thanks for the compliments! I've put almost 13k on it in the last year so there are a few cosmetic touchups that need to be addressed this summer. Probably shouldn't get into politics in my first few posts on the site huh? Lets just say I'm "disappointed" with the entire government right now... I added a pic of the motor below... I plan on detailing the whole car once I'm back from college in about 2 weeks. I'm gunna fix some paint chips and touchup the trim. I'll keep you updated Thanks again for the compliments bro! Neuman... Here are some pics of the box front before I carpeted it... I designed this in SolidWorks my senior year in high school. Odd ball box design but it sure works well. Except the box and sub together weigh about 100lbs!!! Dropped my ass end about 3/4". Note that I doubled up the MDF on the front of the box because of the weight of the sub. Also added covers on the edges so I could "tuck" the carpet and hide any seams.
