Was wondering if anyone had experience with both brands. Which is thicker? etc etc... Ordering from either darvex or audio savings. soooo yeah. Halp? sven6977 Posted May 1, 2010 Author Report Posted May 1, 2010 Anyone else have other opinions on this? I'll be getting the wire this coming weekend and don't want to screw myself. Granted I'm only going to be running a 4channel amp off of it (RE 1600.4) and itll be run at 4ohms per channel. And correct me if I'm wrong but I should put a fuse inline between the power line and the amps right? (I'm using a cap as a distro block of sorts until I can afford a battery. note: i was given the caps so I didn't waste money on em or anything lol ). audiofanaticz Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 monster cable wire is over priced, and way thinner. Did I forget to mention that monster cable has a plastic solid tube thru the middle of their 1/0 power wire to "increase" flow or some BS reason (which must not be true because non of the other wire companies have tried or done their own version of this. So just remember when you buy monster, your paying for even less copper, and more rubber, oh and the name. Theres a few threads if you use the search feature with these brands vs other brands.
