baaudio
i did this a while ago but never got around to putting pictures in my build log. heres the log i put in the electrical section i got my hands on a second d6500 and wanted to try getting it to fit under the hood. i got a second coolant tank from the junkyard, so the only thing im losing is the front washer fluid reservoir but im gonna try to find a spot for that tank too. anyways onto the pics. where the batts going both coolant and washer fluid tanks removed, had to move my cruise control too like a glove the positive terminal is right underneath one of the contours in the hood so i have plenty of clearance first bracket made. you cant see but it wraps around the side and hooks the bottom and sits on the wheel well second bracket. uses a stud from the coolant mounts and hooks over the top to keep batt from rocking. done. just gotta paint the brackets now. you can see where i moved the cruise control to. its the little black piece with the little silver cap Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k

da99jeep
I see that you are running some of the subs inverted. are you running the inverted ones out of phase with the others? if not you can damage your subs while the 4 fight against the other 4 in the box. Otherwise it looks wicked! baaudio
The middle four are out of phase so they all move in unison. To check the polarity I just put the speaker leads to the pos n neg on my amp and made sure all 8 moved together. Otherwise ya I'd have issues with it Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k

baaudio
Alright so I'm finally getting the ball rolling for next season. Work has been slow so my income has taken a hit. I'm working in getting a second job to help out. Here's my plans for next season so far. Two custom built 15s off the mojo motors. And run them on about 3500-4000 rms. I jumped on the opportunity from sundownz to get some baskets. I got one mounted up so far. Next step is to get in touch with PSI to get some recones then get an amp and build the box. Here's pics of the one mojo and basket mounted. baaudio
alright so i got bored today and cleaned up a lot of the wiring in this thing. i added leds to the alarm and replaced a burned 1/0 wire (leaned on the exhaust). the wiring under my back seat had just become a mess so i cleaned all that up. no pics heres pics of the leds though. im sure some of the more experienced guys have done this with jobs but hopefully it inspires some of you. my old led was on my dash by the steering wheel, thats where the guy we got the truck from originally put it. so i put my valet/led there but disconnected the led. now i took two of the Viper leds and put them in my pillars. Now with those leds you can actually pull the blue cap off and just have the led, by doing that i was able to flush them into the pillars and its hardly noticeable when it isnt armed.
