good call, and look at tge bright side: now you have an excuse to buy a mids/highs amp too, or atleast you'll have a little bit more wire for if you decide to install a second battery.

my highs are actually pretty loud already running off the head unit lol. i dont think i would want them louder lol. you can hear then way over the bass haha

Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal?

heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked.

i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat

wait, so you are running 4 gauge from front batt to back batt, and 0 gauge to the amp? Honestly, just do it all in 0 gauge man..

Batteries are dumb. They don't know where they are in the car, or how long the wire connecting them to each other is.

If you have 2 identical batteries in a car, say 1 under the hood and one in the trunk.

You hook up a SAZ-3500D at 0.5 ohms - let's say this thing pulls 500A at full tilt. It's hooked up to the rear battery with a 2ft long piece of 0ga. All good.

You run a piece of 4 gauge from the front battery to the back.

When you wang on it, you'll pull 250A off each battery. They share the load equally. So you'll be pulling 250A through a single run of 4 gauge - not good.

I'm assuming the IDK in your name stands for I Don't Know. Because man, you sure as shit don't know what you're talking about.

Lol. Hit the nail on the head.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
