You have a couple of options actually. Stay in M5 with your fuses (153 is loud and you' be very competitive actually), or you could start playing with lowering your fuse rating and see how long you can get smaller fuses to hold for that 30 second run. Alpine for example downgraded to 2-80amp fuses with something like 12000w on tap.....tey ussually hold for the 30 seconds. lol You got the Term Lab and fuses are cheap, "do the most with the least" is kinda a MECA motto. lol Regardless, your going to have a blast. ALPINE408 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 a 153 i can tell you is a 2nd place for sure if Mr.p is sittinig out also try 2 150 amp fuse's that would be mod 4 depending on your how many subs and what size.. for spl part you only need it to last for 3 seconds for your max score to show in drive by you need it to last 30 seconds.. with some testing you can make sure the fuse's last then after the show throw your 300 amps fues's back in 153 mod 4 is a for sure 1st the loudest mod 4 guy in cali is a 151.0 so you could take that spot.. loudest mod 4 in cali sounds nice huh hehehe Have you ever had your woofers blown?
