UnderLoK Posted June 7, 2011 Author Report Posted June 7, 2011 We cut wood and secured the floor. Things went slow for a couple reasons. First putting bolts through my floor is like playing minesweeper (for those who remember the game). Seriously these SS's have more shit on the drivers side than I've seen on most cars. Second is the cargo areas roof... It's a challenge to say the least. It literally varies by as much as 6 or 12 inches from one level to the next and often times it will be 5 different sizes in the same vertical. Basically if you just build a square'ish box inside the largest part it would be smaller than the one I have now. This morning I'm going to rip down the liner and take out all the molding so we can get a better look. It'll happen, just not nearly as easy as either of us had thought. On paper it looks like TONS of room, until you start trying to fit pieces in those spaces. ...for a minute we talked about just a new box. That still might happen, not sure yet... Seriously we could get a 13 cube box back there or if we fit against the ceiling 12 cubes... wtf?! lol Just going to take some creative thinking and waaaaaaay more cuts than we thought. Aaron is the man though I'm sure he'll figure it out. The only other snag we ran into is my buddies compressor that's rated at 100 PSI is lucky to do 75 (POS HF compressor)... so I have to find another one today. AlexBryson Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Wow there is some higher power that did NOT want you to put a system in this thing lol. Are you happy with ur SMD's? Im sure there loud as hell but sound quality-wise how are they? Like with some woofers you get loud but distortion and other crap. 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS
