Vinnyhimself
-=backstory=- Hello gents, been sucked into the car audio world hard. im a bass-head that wants to die of blunt force trauma from hard hitting subs. i have been installing simple stereo systems in my 2 previous cars, But i haven't gone to crazy. I have installed new head units pair of subs and an amp successfully to my own cars and a for a friend or two. but i find my self craving more. i recently bought a 2004 chevy trailblazer Lt. And i plan on having this bus pound. i have done A Lot of research and watched tones of videos but i still feel i dont know enough to create a system worthy for this site. I also was trying to find a decent shop to posible intern at nearby. -=Question=- So my Question is where do u guys find out how to do this shit? Also if i can get any tips it would be greatly appreciated.

ISO
If you can get ahold of the MECP basic book and study it. This book is a great place to start and heres a link. http://www.mecp.com/study_guides.asp BASIC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN STUDY GUIDE That is a great place to start man, after that try and drill the fundamentals of DC electricity into your head. One of the most over looked issues in car audio is the wireing. Its the most over looked but it is also the most important part. To have proper current flow will make your system or break your system. (Really) That book will give you the basics then after that checking out the forums and first hand experience will be next but if you learn how DC works then you'll be ahead of the game already.
