As long as you pay attention to mechanical damage you can try just about anything you can think of with a subwoofer. chapo123 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 i tried this. i made 2 different boxes. looked like one but had wall in between both. one was tuned to 30hz and the other 34hz. i couldnt really tell a diff. JMZNeal Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 if you did that you would need to band pass the hz so they didn't overlap to much and integrate with each other smoothly. like 50\/ tuned to 30hz and 50-125hz or so tuned to 60ish or round about that sorta. You'd probably need 20-30hz ish between tuning. BUT that's just my 2cents. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
