mbdblue Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I got pics!!! but I wanted to know what you guys thought would be the best way to reinforce my rear deck. as of right now it is cut length wise by 4-5 inches, and the box is sitting right underneath it. when my sub vibrates the car, the main rattling I can hear comes from the rear deck. got some ideas on how I can make it stop? I thought about doin some 2x4s cut to fit and then bolted through the deck on either side, but I dont think I have the room or it would be set too far back and wouldn't do much. some pics to show whats up... I could try the frontside, that might do something...but I think its mostly the whole thing hitting the box.... sell the rear speakers use the money to buy more/better speakers up front great stuff the rear deck til it stops, lol problem solved haha i cant man! Im one of those weird people that like rear fill... and that might be an option... threaded rod maybe? box looks sick!! cant wait to see it all done yeah I was considering this too...thanks man. I might try and fit a 2x4 under the deck lengthwise and bolt it to the deck, then bolt it to the box. but I tested it again, and it also has alot to do with my trunk lid (already dynamatted and filled with foam) and my back windshield.
