memphis_finest1
so im thinking of getting one mojo 12 this weekend after i get paid and then another one in another 2 weeks and 2 more in the next month and a half for the wall in the mustang. not sure what kinda amp im gonna run but i know it needs to be pretty powerful, but i hear the new mojos are having problems with the interchangable baskets or some shit.and whats real RMS on these thing? would a mojo 2400D on each work well? or 1 per pair? what kinda cubic feet per sub should they need in your honest opinions? im wanting 150's+ with my set-up. becareful ,I own a pair of mojos and if you pop that dust cover off ( for some reason is easy to do ) then you might as well just hang it up. Dont get me wrong but evry mojo ive ever seen has the dust cover gone . mojoman
as a memphis dealer, we see a lot of 150+ cars with 2 of the 12" mojo's. usually running off a 4kw running a burp at .5ohm. daily at 2 ohm. if you have the space go with the quad 15's and a pair of 4kw strapped. you will be amazed how well they play music at high volumes. and there is no need to do a huge box or wall with them if only doing 2 subs. hell their prefab boxes that audio enhancers builds for them make them pound hard!!!!! and yeah, they need to work on the cosmetics of them ugly bitches. stang_01
Ive got a single mojo 12 in my 99 civic coupe running off a mojo 2500d at 1 ohm daily with no problems and it does 146.8 legal off the stock charging system, Ive only added a second battery in the trunk. A single 4kw would work but those subs can hold much more power than that. They work really well for spl with around 2000 watts. Another thing to remember is a mojos are dual 2 ohm, so if you can afford it go with 4 2500s. If not I would do a single 4kw. Do you have any pictures of your set up?
