troy
I just hooked up my HDC3 today on about 500 rms just to play with it a lil bit. But i hear this annoying ass rattle that sounds like its coming from the cone. The same kinda noise that you hear if you sat a screw on the cone and let it bounce and rattle around. is there any ideas of what it could be??? retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs

troy
it doesnt really sound like the coil scraping or crinding or anything like that. but i doubt its a tinsle considering hcd3s dont have the sewn tinsles. they are direct 10g wires. retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs
Neo_frog
Have you tried pushing down on the cone lightly to see if it stops? Does it vibrate with the tone being played or is it erratic? troy
its actually really hard to push the cone down enough to hear anything but it does kinda go along with the tone. high or low volume retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs
