You guys in the 155-160's removing your airbags? What are the chances of them deploying from the viberations at those levels? Sorry if this has been asked but I cant find a straight answer. And the search brings up alot of stuff about bags(ex: air ride)

I would just disconnect you air bag sensor or remove the fuse. Ive scene them go off, and ive seen some high numbers not set them off, so it CAN happen. Id remove one just to be safe. Just my opinion.

It has happened to people, so if those stories are true it is possible. But you do not hear of it happening that often.

There was a topic with a question very similar being asked a bit ago, and it had some good reply's IIRC. I will search a little bit for it.

I have only scene it happen twice, and both time in vehicles that are 04' and newer, so I'd say if its a little older car you'll be fine. New cars are too fragile :pardon:

we had this discusion before, the sensors for airbags are mounted on the front of the vehicle usually the frame rails, way far away from any extreme SPL. airbags goes off from a 12v charge or extreme g force from crashing. same for side impact which the sensors are on the side of the car usually in the post or side frame rail.

your pussy stereo system does not cause enough force to set an airbag sensor mounted in front of the car off. you didnt see it, it didnt happen, end of story. and unless you can prove otherwise that you did seen a stereo system setoff an airbag, shut the fuck up
