homiewes
hey guys to start it off i have a rockford t4000.bd amp and i have a second battery, i was wondering do i run ground from the stock batt to the second batt in back or can i just have the second battery grounded in the back, and also what size fuses should i used between the 2 batteries, and also from the 2nd batt to the amp, should i use all 300amp fuses or should i go smaller? fr34kout
Grounding second battery - Ground it to frame or chassis. Keep the run as short as possible. Fuses between batteries - Fuse to the size of the wire, 300a for good 1/0. Fuses to amp - Match it to the fuses on the amp.
