Can anyone help me with these questions?

1. Will the sub be 2 ohm stable if I run it like " 55x4 @ 4ohms and 300x1 @ 2 ohms. I don't wanna stress it and have it break.

2. Is the RE8 the same as the REX8D4?

3. Anyone recommend ported over sealed?

4. Will I need anything else like speaker wire, or to upgrade "the big 3"?

5. What gauge amp wire? Is 8 okay? I saw someone mention 4.

Also, who thinks I need anything else like a cross over? I'm leaning towards getting this done at a shop bc idk if I can do it all myself.

Usually amps are 2 ohms stable.

The sub will make your amp see a 2 ohms load if you have a Dual Voice Coil 4 or DVC1 or Single VC2.

Get at least a 4Ga wiring kit.

I'd get a 4 channels amp: 2 ch on the 4 speakers and 2 ch bridged on a sub at 2 ohms.

When money come, you will get a sub amp and uses the 4 ch one for the speakers.

Don't be afraid to buy a bigger sub. If you don't have full power for it, no problem, it will still play well.

Buy a used amp: I'm sure you can find good deals.

All you need is a good 10" or 12" sub. Get an Alpine type R, or some Kicker sub : they're cheap !

Amp : $100

Sub : $150

Wiring kit : less than $100

Deadening only on your front doors if you have some money left.

You don't need x-over : your hu or your amp will be enough.

Don't need second batt or upgraded alt. If you can do the big 3, do it.

Be sure to have very good grounds everywhere : under the hood (batt and alt) and for the amp.

So Ive been looking around, and even checking site reviews. The site above "dealer cost direct whatever" got terrible reviews, like 2/10's. So I'mma stick to crutchfield but they also charge a little more so this effects my budget. So I've decided to go with a 10 inch woofer but a 4 channel amp instead. This is the new setup I'm looking at. What do you think? It seems to be as good as I can go.

For the amp:

I'd give 2 channels to the front speakers, one for each. Run the rear speakers off the head unit. And then bridge the 2 other channels to run the sub at 4 ohms.

Am I right in thinking I can bridge this amp and run it at 4 ohms connected to that sub safely?

Maybe I'm stupid and please correct me if I am. But that hifonics does 55x4 plus 300x1 which is sweet but don't most mid level sony and pioneer h.u do like 52x4 I know mine and my g.f does. .. so it wouldn't be a ton better.... so spend more money on a better sub stage imo

My HU says 50x4 on it but I assume pioneer would be the same, in the sense that it is peak and not RMS. So I don't think it would give me what I need unless I'm wrong. I'm still fairly new to this.

btw: Can someone look at the setup I listed above.

I've narrowed it down to those products. I'd get free shipping on it all too.

For example, Is the equipment good, am I missing anything, and will it all work together well?

that 52x4 for headunits is max power which means nothing in the real world.

honestly you can get a rockford fosgate 200a4 or 400a4 (produced in 1999-2001) for as much or cheaper than the Dual 4 channel amp. i have a 200a4 powering infinity 4's in the doors and 6.5" mb quart's in the rear deck (also in a 94 corolla) and it sounds amazing as hell.

if i recall correctly the 200a4's can do like 300rms total. which is a good clean ~70wrms per channel
