ISO Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Go to Ebay and look for Kicker RMB 6.5's or 8's or the SSMB that came in a 6.5 and an 8. They were without a doubt some of the best mid bass speakers available. They are out of production now and its to much to write to explain why they stopped making them but they are truly bad ass. Perfect frequency response and slim mount design. This is not an opinion it is a fact that they were some of the best out there. I promise. ryanFA5 Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 My friends got the ds 6.5s and they hve great midbass. But theyre only running off of headunit power and they tend to distort at higher volumes. The more expensive they get, the better sound quality youll have. At least thts how i look at things. And also, if you want punchier midbass, definitly go with kicker.
