meade916 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Oh and i should point out, once you are a paid member, your new DROP DOWN menu (down below) will show the google ad-free skins.....so you have to chose the one you like....it isnt automatic. bobonit Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Ok guys here is the deal with the memberships......i know the google ads are overwhelming sometimes but they also pay the bills here. I wanted to have a way you can get rid of them and the best way was to offer a way to pay a small fee and not see them anymore. For those that choose to support the site with a membership, the google ads should all be gone but the partner banners will stay. They will however be JUST down the sidebar and not on top. Of course, this is 100% up to you......you dont HAVE to purchase a membership. Everything will be the same! Of course if you do purchase a special membership, your proceeds always go to keeping this place up and running as well as some newer (upcoming) features that may only be available to those members. again, no pressure - but if you want to get rid of the google ads there is now a way to do it. thanks everyone!
