JMZNeal Posted August 28, 2010 Author Report Posted August 28, 2010 I have an old T1000.1 if I could find another elite(grey) one for a good price I might but the plan was get one 1500 then new subs then 2nd 1500... It's like a 3 step program i'd even run them at 2ohm if I was getting the RF cpbd's or SA1200's if 1ohm... But it's all just words til I got the money in the bank so for now lets say 3 DC lvl5s off 3 sa 4500's JVC AVX-44 and 360.2 Subs: 2 RF T1 12s 1ohm mono off a RF T1500bdcp 80hz \/ in a 2.3cube 45hz slot port Mids: 2 O2 8's off a Punch 550.2 behind seat, 2 Image Cxs 6.5's and 2 ID XS 6x9s 80-3khz in doors on a T600.2 Highs: 2 ID CD.1 MH HLCD 8ohm off a RF 400.4 3khz /\
JMZNeal Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 so after i couldn't get it hard i decided to make it hotter and got it hard.... Jelly that is.. turns out that 30drops per 4oz is horse shit.. more like 45-50 and it still stayed tacky forever after getting hard in the middle. but it has a very long work time unlike resin.. which i like better this is the pods wrapped and double layered..first with jelly then with resin..then and extra layer of resin after some sanding just to smooth it back out.. then some bondo... oh and i finally fixed my outer doors too and got them smoothed up.. which ment i had to fix my popper b/c i no longer have a hole to put a wrench in to open my door (every time i fix it it fucks up again so i never filled in the key hole as my back up(2-3years of it)) the screws that came with the button rusted so bad there was no connection.. so i cleaned it up put big bolts in there and greased everything up with dielectric grease so it wouldn't corrode again... all i have to do is sand on the pods and install them tom... what ya'll think about my first time fiberglassin? not bad for a half retarded redneck if i say so myself. i should have waited to ask that after i paint them huh.. they look ruf still not sanded... craracer05 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I wouldn't do two t1500bdcp i would just do a t25001bdcp and the t2's 15"s if you could fit them would be better. 2007 Scion Tc- T1500.1bdcp & t600.4, Three P3D212's Ported at 40hz, T2 6.5" Components, Rockford Marine 8" coax's. JMZNeal Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 nope won't fit.. 12's as big as it can get. But one 2500bdcp would be sweet on two T2 12s... But I really will prob just end up swapping my 1k for a new 1.5k cp and keep my T1s til they blow JVC AVX-44 and 360.2 Subs: 2 RF T1 12s 1ohm mono off a RF T1500bdcp 80hz \/ in a 2.3cube 45hz slot port Mids: 2 O2 8's off a Punch 550.2 behind seat, 2 Image Cxs 6.5's and 2 ID XS 6x9s 80-3khz in doors on a T600.2 Highs: 2 ID CD.1 MH HLCD 8ohm off a RF 400.4 3khz /\
JMZNeal Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 here's the semi final door pod. still thinking about how to work the 6x9 into it as one big piece but i may just leave it alone. IDK did some work on my tailgate. got the box cleaned up and removed the rust that had formed from us not sealing it before priming it when we just welded it in years ago...1/2inch plexi floating the tag.. wait til i edge up the backside corners and put leds behind it hopefully will be getting front half primed this week. and working on bed next. I told ya'll it would be a slow build but it's coming along nicely.... JMZNeal Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 how about some nightshade v2 12s and a sundown 4500 sounds good if i could afford them.. but seriously i'm thinking about just putting a 1500bdcp one what i got and seeing if the old T1's can handle it.. then go to SA's if not.... I'm putting too much money into stuff i've already bought once cuz i want bigger... but that's the life of a mini truckin audiodphile..... Ya'll like my plexi?.... I've figured out how to make the edges clear again after cutting it. 40-80-180-400-600-1500-3000grit sand paper....then buff with rubbing compound... I'm working this: out of it today... it hit a stump rolling down the hill in front of my house several years ago. i'll post a pic of my progress once i get some bondo on. So far i've got the doors, fender, and tailgate done. still need to work on hail damage to roof and hood, the flat rocker panel also from the stump... and two or three spots on the bed other than the front.. a new bed would have been easier but i'm doing autobody and need to learn anyway. and before i paint it i need to get the suspension done right... so no more audio $ other than cosmetics like finishing the pods and painting my amps until next spring at least. (might sneak a T600.2 in just to have my doors speakers right after Thanksgiving ) JVC AVX-44 and 360.2 Subs: 2 RF T1 12s 1ohm mono off a RF T1500bdcp 80hz \/ in a 2.3cube 45hz slot port Mids: 2 O2 8's off a Punch 550.2 behind seat, 2 Image Cxs 6.5's and 2 ID XS 6x9s 80-3khz in doors on a T600.2 Highs: 2 ID CD.1 MH HLCD 8ohm off a RF 400.4 3khz /\
