BanginGMC
Okay, so as the title says.. i plan on putting 26" rims w/ low pros on my little 86 GMC S15. I have 20" Lexanis on it now and they look amazing, but time to upgrade. So, i'm going to need a lift kit.. but, i have never done this before. Therefore i have NO idea what size lift i need and i was hoping i can get some help/information on what i need. I would like to have the 26s tucked under in the wheel well a couple inches. ( think Donk ) If you guys need more information let me know. audiofanaticz
you say you want them tucked a couple inches, then you say to "think donk" and post a donk.. Donks are far from tucking the wheels. A good example of tucking would be Meades hoe, when the tire/wheel is inside the fender, and you have zero gap between the tire and fender. Okay, i want the tire a couple inches in as shown. I had a different meaning in mind then the commonly used tucked. 1986 GMC Sonoma Chameleon paint lowered sitting on 20" Lexani rims with Pirelli's Representing Team Sundown ~ AZ Chapter Head Unit: Alpine iDA-X305S Front Stage: ( 7" AA Carbon Fibers (1) MTX TE 1004 Sub Stage: (2) 15" AA SMD (2) SAZ-3500D Electrical: (1) XS Power D3400 (4) XS Power D3100 (1) DC Power 320Amp Alt Scores: 152.6 @Kick. 152.0 @Headrest. 151.2 @Windshield. A good example of tucking would be Meades hoe, when the tire/wheel is inside the fender, and you have zero gap between the tire and fender. your last statement can be very misleading. on that donk he posted, the wheels are also inside of the fender (opening). you should have worded it like this.. ".... and you have zero gap between the tire and TOP of the fender" that donk's rims/tires are tucked a good amount, from the bottom of the fender. people from other places of this country word things different and have much different perspectives bags psend the cahs if you are doing 26s id do bags. you know damn well if he doesn't know how lift he needs to clear 26's on a s15, he can not bag one over 26's. actually I'm not even sure if that has been done before. edit: couldn't find one bagged on 26's but did find one lowered which I think looks sick 2001 Tahoe.
