get a multimeter and check the ohms between the ground point for your amps and the negative terminal of the battery. Should be less than 3-5 ohms.

God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.

what happens when you hit brakes? same thing?

Nothing, at all.

I'd suggest doing it, I managed to, I just found the factory grounding point, and replaced the thin as 12awg with 2 250 to 300 amp straps, it works fine.

It's a manual eh? I think I can remember from the vids.

It is manual, its a 4 speed. And ill find some penetrating fluid then.

The only way i could do that is if i get some extra wire and then its adding a variable. Should i measure resistance on the extra wire? Then subtract from reading?

Did you run RCAs down the center console? Could the shifter be pulling on some wires?

I know this was a long time ago, and i don't even have the car anymore, but if anyone has any problem like this i DID fine the reason.

Turns out it was actually when the rad fans turned on the voltage dipped enough to cause it. The shifting was just coincidence.

I don't know if a ground is your problem, But I had bad ground noise even after sanding paint off and I tried a few different locations. I finally said F it and ran ground from the front battery to the back back battery,I haven't had a ground issue since.

Thats a great idea, but if i had the money for that, i would have done it a long time ago, i would try that for sure but i just don't have money for that.
