chapo123
these are 2 12 lvl 3's. on a t1000 with gain set for 1400rms at 1ohm. car is a 04 benz c230k. 4 door with trunk. back seats dont drop down so the steering wheel and roof/sunroof flex is pretty sick considering they built this car bulletproof. as you can see there is little rattle to show how well they built this car. its 1.6cuft per sub with 2 4" aeros (flared) tuned to 35hz. only elc upgrades i have are 130amp alt (stock) big 3 in 4 gauge (stock) 4 gauge run to the back. hc800. and 0 gauge from the back batt to the amp. this is tylertrons vid. i cant take vids cuz my cam is pretty shitty. he didnt get much footage but you get the point! DC FTMFW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5vP1GRLzzs&playnext_from=TL&videos=HqV4u83GhT4&feature=sub and heres a pic of the subs and box Edited June 22, 2010 by chapo123 Quote Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked. i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat 2 sa12s, saz1500 build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/91183-chapo123s-sundown-build-log/page__gopid__1250604entry1250604
chapo123
and dont watch the vid on here. the screens so small you cant even see the flex. click it to go the youtube.com to see it much better. its a short vid. he didnt really pick up most of the interior flex (visors, door panels etc) the back seats are really killing me. i wish i could take em out but i need them. going to get new box soon. when i mounted the subs the gaskets were touching (tight fit) and they were leaking lots. so i had to take the gaskets off and mount em like that. but they still leak ALOT. i know thats killing my db's. AssKicker
Just wondering, when you set the gain above the rating of the amp, doesn't that cause clipping? Sorry just wondering, I want to try this out on my IA 20.1, bump it up to 2000 watts.
