How to Get low end bass

wtf? bass above 50 is great. But it sucks without low bass. Turn your crossover up a little and see. If you only want to shake things a 1/4 mile away, then yes you are right. If you listen to music that actually has instruments in it, then no.

Bass above 55-60 should be handle by the midbass.

thas what i wanna do what hz should i look at would 36hz do it?

Yeah prefabs are tuned high. Make your own and tune it to low 30's and your lows will come alive. Or seal it. but if you realllly want lows, tune it to upper 20's haha.

It will not fall in pieces.

It's just going to control lower frequencies better, and make sure the cone won't launch itself out of the box if u use a bit more power.

The only downside is that the higher freqeuncies will be less loud and it will be less loud on the termlab.(but sometimes it sounds louder to the ear.)

Its not hard to make your own box. Its hard to make a box that is super efficient and looks pretty too. You should easily be able to make your own box and have it sound better than your prefab and if you tune it lower you will get the lows. I have had a bunch of different setups but I had 2 15'' type rs tuned at 34 hz and on about the same power you have your 12s on and I liked that, Lost a little on high end bass but it liked the lows alot. I upgraded to 4 15s and alot more power and tuned to 36 hz, personally I like the 36 hz better, it seems to be pretty well balanced with hitting a good range of bass. Personally I wouldnt go lower than 32 hz and probably not higher than 36.

Yeah, I think I figured out that I want the box to be tuned around 30hz after taking to a few people. I dont like high bass anyways. how do you get the dimensions for the wood to make the box? thanks
