Dr. Winn Posted July 2, 2010 Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 my car is acting retarded lately. the clutch aint working right. i have already replace the master and slave hydralic clyinders and bled the system and it still aint working right. any ideas on whats wrong? doug118 Posted July 2, 2010 Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 explain not working right adjust the rod for the slave cylinder where it connects to the back of the pedal. I have no idea what your actual problem is but a friend of mine replace EVERYTHING when it came to his drivetrain from the trans to the slave and totally forgot to adjust that rod. had us scratching our heads for a week Quote 2001 Tahoe. Dr. Winn Posted July 2, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 ok. 90 accord. the problem i have with teh car is when the clutch is fully pressed in, it wont go into gear. ive had this problem before, replace teh master and slave cylinder fixed it the first time, that was 2 months ago. now it feels like there was an airbubble in one of the lines, so i bled the lines. the car still wont go into gear. does that help? Dr. Winn Posted July 2, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 well i can still start the car, i think that adjusting that push rod will fix it, cause it feels like the clutch aint opening far enuff. now to figure out how to adjust this pushrod...
