I told him 500-700 wasn't alot on a system. I think I could get away with 1200-1400. He wouldn't really care

now honestly thats still not going to get you an sq setup. ARe you just looking for agood sounding daily system or what? that 1200 is going to get you one part of a great sq system.

He just wants an upgrade from his stock Bose system. He's not looking for a show car. He wants it to look stock. So 4 6.5s, a 4 channel, a 10/12 sq sub, and a sub amp

I have expensive taste I wont be much help here but look into Image dynamics. I've always loved them.

didnt read too much into this thread but i love my frontstage and i have heard a lot. i personally rate mine as top 3

gunna run you alil more than your price range buttt well worth it.

and sub wise a lot of the sound is going to depend on the type of box you build. you could almost do a t line with a couple of 8's fairly cheap if you build the box, and look at sundown 8's
