sundown! the 1500 produces a good bit more power than the aq. and there an overall more sturdy built amp (ive used both myself)

well if i was to get the sundown id get the 1200v2. so they would both put out the same power

I've yet to see a Audioque clamped, but every time I've seen a Sundown sub amp clamped, its put out at least 150 over its rating.

EDIT: well the SAZ-1000D didn't, but its brothers more than made up for it...

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.

On those clamp tests I believe many of the voltages were in the low 12's, too. That really speaks to the power of Sundown when some of their amps are putting out 250-500 wrms over the rated while not even near 14.4V. I have a AQ 2200d and love it and a Sundown 125.2 and also love it. You really can't go wrong either.

Both amps are underrated. But this is my opinion

Sundown= Only if you have the money. Better quality (you get what you pay for)

Audioque= If your on a budget. Best bang for buck

it also depends on your electrical system. Get the Sundown 1500 if you have a good electrical system because it used more amps B)

I would get the Audioque if your on a budget, and have a weaker electrical system (The 1200d only needs 120 amps)

But I would get the Sundown If you want more power, have the cash, and have a good electrical system ( The Sundown 1500 needs 160 amps)

Thats aN IMO :good:
