Coil Differences

Im going to be in the market for a good 600-800rms sub and have found a few to consider. Im looking at the sundown SA- 12's, DC Audio level 3 12's, Fi SSD 12's, Ascendant Audio Chao's and a few others. Would there be any real difference in choosing a sub that has a 3" coil versus a 2" or 2.5"?

Amp is going to be most likely a sundown 1200 v2 or 1500d. Also what woofer would you like to see me use on these particular amps and why? Trying to stay within the 200 dollar mark per sub and i need two. Im personally leaning towards the SA's because all my amps will be sundown and all would "match".

Also, i have tried to contact DD Audio for prices on their 2500A but get no return calls or emails. Anyone ever purchase from them or anything? I would like to know their options.

No what I'm sayin is most 3in coils will take more power than smaller coils.
