BeatBox Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 i used it best on the floor of the car where it wont come off.... i put it in my door and it started to come off because the crapp is on my window every time i roll it down and roll it back up it sticks to the glass i used second skin's SPL tiles and they are working great!

I did the 2 doors and the rear deck where the 6x9 speakers are with the Fatmat so far, and still have at LEAST 70-8O sq ft left. If it is installed and prepped PROPERLY, then it sticks like a B*tch and will not come off. And there is NO smell as far as I have noticed...and it works well. I would have gone with the second skin if I had more money but for the price and the fact that Fatmat sells and ships from Canada, I chose to go with it. Dont have to go through the whole, "wasting money" B.S second skin would b nice if i had the money for it. just for the damplifyer its 200 bucks. not including taxes, shipping, duty and customs fees. thats for 80 sq ft. or seel n peel 80 plus taxes for same amount. but im leaning towards fatmat now. few bucks more but seems less people are having problems with it.

But for now i'm still low on cash since I got hit with 3 school semesters in a row and not working much this summer because of a full summer course load.
