Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

It does not matter how many woofers you have, if your ONE woofer is out of phase from the rest of your system, than its out of phase. Yes, if you have multiple subs and one is out of phase with the rest, that is a problem too. But having your subs out of phase with the rest of your system is a problem also. Why do you think people use time alignment? Not only to set your stage, but to bring your subs in phase with your front stage. And even if u wire it how u say the sound will be not 100% in phase neither, but because you're components don't play the same thing as you're subs it shouldn't cancel anything out.
