BJD3 Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 I have the gain down because I though the Bass EQ was better to use for some reason hah. So I ill turn down the Bass EQ all they way and turn the gain up just a bit. It wont need to be much (like under or around 1/4) because after that the bass is too loud lol. Im running all stock right now as my stock system is pretty damn decent, thats why I have the bass so low. Thats what I was thinking but I just wanted to be sure. I know its not coils though because it smells nothing like it. If I were to compare the smell to something id probably say a vanilla lollipop. I have antoher question. On my stock HU I can adjust the bass from -8 to +8. I uasually have it on -4 and maybe sometimes up to +1. Is turning up the bass on the HU similar turning up the Bass Boost? Its more like a gain. If you plan on using it, see if you can get your hands on an oscope and make sure your HU doesn't clip when the volume's up and the bass is up as well. If it doesn't clip, when you set your gains, make sure they are up. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
