Kicker 15" L7's Walled *Updated 1/09*

Recommended Posts

Doing reverse camera console today. Will post up pictures later. Still lots of work to do. Also considering doing my own wide body kit. Should be a lot of fun! Have done a body kit in the past. Was looking at the one on now. Would be easy to do on this model car.

I'm not an out of control driver, I'm completely in control.. only sideways..

Fitted the front of the box, fiber glassed the front a bit, got tired and lazy didnt finish much. Then getting the body filler to smooth is all out and fiber glassing to the chassie to make the " wall " official. Getting there..

It looks like shit at the moment.I need to sand the sub mounts down evenly and sand the glass. Once done it will look extremely good. I broke my jigsaw halfway through a hole and bent the blade didnt have an extra. Hense the uneven square holes.

Triangle ports would definitely be sexier

take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey

Yeah I was going to do triangle but.. I dont remember why I didnt. I ended up cutting it out to see how it looked. I think there was a issue with size. I could still do triangles would just have to redo the front. Haha.. dont know if I can really be bothered. Doing fiberglass now. It's coming a long nicely. Got my L7's today! Well one of them, the other two are on backorder. *sigh*

Like the way the subs are going to be mounted. :)

I would have gone with 2 and gotten more port area, but that's just me being a nit-picky bastard. :)

See thats one issue I've had. This is my first " ported " box build. and I am shit at working out the proper port size... For more port area I'd have to cut a bit out but would look somewhat like this.

If someone feels like helping me work out the length I'll need for that port size ;P

Looking really good !

These L7's are gonna hit your Getz soooo hard !!! How long will it resist ??

My sister has a Getz, and I definitely don't see how I can fit 3 L7 15" in it !

I like how you displayed the subs in the wall.cool.gif

Good work.

Keep posting pics. even if I can't see a lot of them, I might have a problem with my computer.
