thumpintruckred
My a/d/s are going out. Not looking to break the bank. Need a SOLID 6.5" mid and tweet to run in the doors (running 2 pair per front door, none in rear ext cab). I have an Orion 2500d pushing 2-15" alpine type-R subs, so I need a good mid / tweet to keep up. Amping the front stage with a kicker 750.4 (Also, doors are FULLY matted and I have speaker baffles already in, the whole 9 yards. These speakers will be going into a good home!) BboyTaktix
I just bought the JBL P650C power series components and put them on a beast JBL 4-channel amp, and they're fuking loud! have to keep gain less than 1/3 volume and now I'm looking at upgrading my subs. They're crystal clear, and not very expensive either. and JBL stuff can take a beating. 2018 Golf R - Stealth SQ system build - C508GTI front (active), 2x Pioneer Z10LS4, Zapco DSPZ8, Clarion DPX11551 (Mono amp), Pioneer GM-D8604 (front stage amp), Pioneer GM-A3702 (rear fill amp) SOLD! 2011 Subaru STI - 'modest' passive sq system - JBL p660c component (front) JBL P662 (rear) JBL W10GTI (sealed enclosure) 4ch JBL GO1004 (150RMSx4), Clarion DPX11551 mono amp (+-1200RMS@3ohms)
thumpintruckred
Anyone run 6.5" and 5.25" mid PER door, and 1 tweeter? This would save me from buying a new set or 2 sets of 6.5" comps. Should I run 2 tweeters? Thinking about doing the a-pilar with a 4" mid and tweeter or just skip a-pilar and throw tweeter in door?
