what should you clean with before applying?

just got my trunk kit today and gonna apply it tomorrow, any prep work I gotta do before I slap it in?

When I applied deadener, I just cleaned with some glass cleaner and paper towels. Then again, I just had dust on my panels. I would recommend using degreaser or maybe rubbing alcohol to cut through any grease you might have on your panels or whatever. JUST MAKE SURE IT'S DRY! Don't ask me how I figured that out -.-

also it will stick better if you skuff the surface a little too aka wire brush or sand paper then clean it off

i used a real wet towel then acetone then again with water just not real wet

Get some Kleen Strip Preps All or some acetone and clean it really well. Let it air dry completely then maybe scuff with a scotchbrite pad or something equivilent. You'll be all set then.
