Mosin Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 i'd like to see some decent pics of 8k's. i have a 6k set, but lost a ballast while driving (long story) and lost it and ripped the plug from the bulb. so now i need to order a whole new set. thinking about staying with 6k, but wouldn't mind just a hinty hint of blue in my lights I have 55w 8000K in and down road they have just a nice tint of blue. tacomabanga1986 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Share Posted August 21, 2010 i got 35w 8000k h4 hi/lows but the way my headlights are made makes em look like shit and dimms the brightness alot, no matter how much i clean em it dont make any difference, im going to have to replace my housings to some crystal clears to hopefully help it out but i aint got the money maby some other person got some for his truck and i could find em in junk yard, why the hell did the 2000 model tacoma have clear headlights but the 99 had that fuked up reflector look? this is what im talking about this is mine this is what i want just aint got the $100 or so to get em heres a pic of my 8000k low beam maxcar 35w hids, ddms are pritty much the same from what i can tell brightness wise only thing i can tell is the maxcars were alot bluer in color than the ddm's tho here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
