DD Germans sound pretty good, the midbass is very good, the tweeter didn't suit my tastes - too clinical, no warmth - but was still pretty decent. High end speakers I've heard and liked, a lot: DLS, Rainbow, and Arvus. But if you can find Arvus in the states, you're doing well 10.x volts fo' life! Super warm sound, can get really loud without getting harsh. They do really well in a lot of Euro SQ competitions which I think says a lot. 10.x volts fo' life!
