Loosing power ?

It seems like after a few minutes of hard hitting bass , that my speakers loose , maybe 15 to 20 percent of their thump ? could my amp be loosing some power or is it that they are in sealed enclosures and they build up pressure after some good hits ?

If the picture in your signature is the system your running, its because thats garbage and you should do a lot more reading and researching before you rebuild again.

your setup could be having voltage loss, or the amp could be getting hot, which in turn loses power to the subs... in my opinion

to the OP, it can be caused by the woofers heating up, thats what happens to me after beating on them for about 20 minutes. feel your woofer cones with the back of your hand after you hear them starting to lose volume and i almost guarantee that they will be hot, at least warm.

thanks guys ! And dont worry, i purposely stared with some cheaper subs and equipment to learn with and believe it or not those subs have outperformed others that cost 2 to 3 times as much, and i dont worry myself with small minded HOMIES ! lol . I have noticed that my subs get preatty hot, should i port my enclosers ? is it because they are sealed that it is producing so much heat ? contrary to "bangin"s post i actually can read without assistance and have done alot of research ! Like i said startin out small and workin my way up !! Thanks for any help!!
