pretty sweet man, came out nice.

Thanks bro

i was expecting gray primer lol

def looks different and nice color combo with the black lights. must be nice to be able to paint your own cars :drinks:

Thanks, Grey primer is too boring.lol

I've been around paint/body for a while now but just lately have I started doing my own work.

Its not as hard as it looks, you should try it ;)

I will post some pics of misc stuff I've played around with

very nice :) like the unique color

Thanks bro, and yeah for some reason i also like this color over the regular grey primer ;)

Looks good mane! I like how the black lights look on that truck.

After seing all the guys smoking their light (including you) and seing the drastic change I knew i had to tint mine also. :)

looks sick definately like the paint over the chrome bumper looks hella lot better

Thanks man,

I got the idea from the 454ss truck, i've always liked the clean look of the painted bumper ass well...

Ok guys, finally I have some time to paint my truck.(unemployed)

Might have it finished within 2-3 weeks being that I still need a few parts.

Now for some pics:

Had to take off the bed so I can paint between the bed and the cab.

Next thing I did was take off the big and ugly original mirrors.

I then picked up some mirrors off a late 90's monte carlo and modified them to fit.

They are far from finished, I will post updates pictures as I get to finishing them.

Then the blocking of the bed began:

Here is the bed with the guide coat applied.

In these 2 pics you can see my sorry attempt to mock up a checkered stripe along the side of the bed.

But since I didnt like the look I ditched that idea.
