Paul M
My buddy has some Dynamat in his RSX, he says it makes a world of difference, and that its great.. But my city is piss weak for car audio stuff, and that is literally the only stuff sold in my city, so before I spring for some Dynamat, I came here to ask. What in your opinion is the best sound deadner?

EricR
i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? raytard
ballistic from metra stuff shocked me, price is good and its a good bit thicker than dynamat (4mil aluminum, same as dynamat, but 2.1 of butyl while dynamat extreme is 1.7) second skin has a bit thicker aluminum and a bit thinner butyl. I was under the belief that the butyl did more than the aluminum, but then again thats just what i've heard. TeamHT
Second skin or rattletrap. I don't know why people would suggest hushmat. Thicker than fatmat/damplifier but thinner than rattletrap/damplifier pro. I've used secondskin and loved it but got a great deal on 150sq ft or rattletrap for $320 shipped to me. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
