2nasty
What does everyone think about the d9 amp. I know alot of people run them for competition, what about for the street. I have heard they are one of the most powerful amps. What's are y'all opinions about the d9?

dwright27
i think its time for me to get a new sig lol... i think you mean sundown audio? i dont remember the last time i heard anyones amp "break" well db-r seems to have alot of sundown in for repair most of the time. Just goes to show any amp can have to be repaired ... Edit: also, the d9s aren't the ones that have as many problems as the 3250s and the other rd amps. UnderLoK
Going with a used D9 is high risk because most of the guys I see with them are running them at insanely low ohm loads. Many of the horror stories I've seen are people with used amps. If you were getting a D9 new for a 1ohm+ load I doubt you will have any problems. The whole stink starts when people try getting 6kw out of it. At least from what I've read. If you're getting it used be DAMN SURE you know for a fact the load it was running under and what the guy had for power. If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARSCheck out my walled TBSS build over here4 Fi Team 18s on 2 Cactus K9 DS18 doors on 2 MBQ 1Ks, Vifa pillars on a STL4.500 Pioneer X8500 6 XS Power D7500, 1 3400S Second Skin 2 270a Mechman Alts
