Well I got a second job just just 2 days ago working at the local Starbucks and will be making more money to upgrade to a powerful system later on in about 4 to 5 months. I've been looking at the 12" Fi BTL , 12" Re XXX series, Re Mx Series, and lastly the 12" Kicker L7. I want this system to have SPL and SQ at the same time. So which sub would you recommend. Also could please put which amp and how much RMS each sub will get. ( going to just get 2 12")

Sub : 1 12" JL Audio W7

Sub Amp : JL Audio HD 1200

For your integra I would suggest a pair of RE MX series 12's in a ported enclosure tuned low 30's and put a fosgate T-1500-1bd on each you will be getting 1500 watts to each 12 and be damn happy with both output and sq

I am not sure if he wants to spend close to 1200 on a 12" sub for the xxx though, the mx will do both and it has a 4" voice coil!

So the Kicker will just have SPL but no SQ right?

And the budget for this will be around 4000-5000. So which would be better XXX or MX Series? Also the price I gave you includes the wires and bix build so probably around 35000 for subs and amp.

Well the xxx will get you there also, but it also takes alot more to get you there...power-at least 500 watts more, weighs almost 40 lbs more and takes more airspace than the mx

So it would be better to go with the MX Series because it weighs less and requires less power right. So If I get 2 Re Mx Series 12" Which amp and how much RMS should each sub get?
