audio1der Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Really nice work! Question on how you set your gains, as you mentioned some pages back that your rear fill is powered by the HU? Being that you can only turn your volume up as high as the rear fill can handle and not to max before setting your 2 amp gains, do you have any secrets? I have a similar setup and feel like the rear fill off the HU is a real crutch. Robert8252 Posted May 16, 2011 Author Report Posted May 16, 2011 Was going to run a 175.4 but got the audison for the price of the 175.4 and couldn't pass up a audison. No offense to DC's product but for my front stage I had the opportunity for audison and jumped on it. So far a day of use and testing the XL loves the 3.5k. Wouldnt give it more probably though. It finally "almost" gets warm. Lol. I am currently running the sub but didn't finish the box yet. Got some testing I'm doing before I finish it all off. The rear speakers handle the head unit at 28 which is where I've always set my gains with this head unit. The rear speakers are rated for 80 watts so they aren't getting near that at the volume of the head unit. They're aren't really audible in the front seat but I didn't want them to be so it worked out great. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

Robert8252 Posted May 17, 2011 Author Report Posted May 17, 2011 Nice build and dedication. Just read every page Thanks man. The rebuilds are fucking headaches but it gets better each time. I'll get a video tomorrow depending on weather. It's pretty nice to listen to right now and the response is flat as can be right now. Need to reset my gains with another tone and it should be good to go. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
