Boon
I have money for fuses... and if your car burns down that's what insurance is for.... if it did burn down ide get cashed out for more then I ever dreamed of putting into my system, full retail on my equipment... You'd get cashed out for exactly $fuck-all because you didn't have fuses, so they will turn down your claim. Your original post was both ignorant and irresponsible. 10.x volts fo' life! smokeumtires
ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR FUSES ANYWHERE IN YOUR CAR AUDIO SYSTEM….. ADDS RESISTENCE, AND WASTE OF MONEY! Been doing this for over 5 yrs and have never ever used fuses.... unless your shit is gonna ground out somwhere in your + lines then you should rethink where you run your power cables.... And SURELY no need for 4 damn fuses for one run of wire to the second batterys LMFAO!!!! You know while your going fuse happy, fuse the + wires that run from your amp to your subs.... Seriously? If there are no need for fuses in your car why would the Manufacturer even put any in there? Why would Amp companies put fuses in amps? That has to be the most retarded thing Ive EVER read. Man.........
BTL FTW
Fuses are cheap Amps are not cars don't like fire This is an easy answer, Use fuses or bring marshmellows to roast over the car fire while you wait on the side of the road watching your ride burn to the ground I've seen first hand what happens with insufficient fusing. buddy's Prelude hit a pothole and because he half-assed his install a power wire came loose and started a fire. We had a nice flame going while we waited for the proper authorities.
