Digital Designs "woodgrain" Subwoofers..?

Recommended Posts

is that just a mask or is it real wood? cause real wood would be pointless in a sub other than loox

a while back jvc made a mid that had a wood cone they said it created a more pure, natural sound

good theory but im not sure u can hear the difference

its real wood vaneer I believe, I have seen a real wood speaker before and it sounded amazing, I cant remember what the brand was.

oh and I was thinking of something exotic on the wood face plate, cherry is nice but I want something Differrent, I seen this black wood at a real wood working store, man was it sick, I'm sure its expensive, but I dont care, I think it will look baddddass.

its a $350 option, but the sub itself costs around $800

they print the design on rice paper then laminate it over the std. cone.

thats what chad said over at ca.com

and it was originally made for a rapper

btw would you rather have Gator, maybe Chicken does

dd also has a bunch of composite cones too
