Mayo Posted September 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 what James said... though the last 2 I did with Alpine screens, I used the mille MLK2 crossovers bi-amped with all tone controls set to 0 and no crossovers on the deck. used the mille x-over with it's built in time alignment... the sub was set to 70 on the d channels, the b channels were at 50hz highpass, and the A channels were at 500 i think so as not to toss the signals out of phase mlk is mille Explain this like I'm a 2-yr old. jbondox Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 Sorry, Alpine multimedia screen IVA w505, basically the mille components (MLK2's) come with a passive crossover with minor time alignment, without running the bit1. I still have the factory headunit and I improved its' performance by adding the JL CleanSweep. I'm not into the video scene, just music so I think I will be good to go on my equipment choices. But on this amp, the saving isnt this much 170 $. And hipping to everywhere in the US would cost 65 $. Together 105 $ cheaper.
