check your internet security or firewall settings on what sites are allowed or not allowed. I used to have problems with websites that there certificate cant be validated or something like that. Norton security?

change ur ip.

Windows (second option)

- Computer connected directly to the modem

1. Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).

2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes).

3. Shut down computer.

4. Turn off computer.

5. Turn off all ethernet hubs/switches.

6. Turn off cable/DSL modem.

7. Leave off overnight.

8. Turn everything back on.

Network with Router

1. Log into the router's admin console. (Often http://192.168.1.1/)

2. Release the IP address. (Method varies by router manufacturer)

3. Turn off router, ethernet hubs/switches, and the cable/DSL modem.

4. Leave off overnight.

5. Turn everything back on.

In Internet Explorer, go to "TOOLS" "INTERNET OPTIONS" "PRIVACY TAB" (Make sure it is set to medium) then go to "SECUIRTY TAB" and set all 4 zones to "DEFAULT"...

If that works, then it was a setting in IE... If not, then it is more than likely a router issue (possibly a "blocked site" setting or a dns setting)

Comcast has been sucking lately and I have been having problem's getting to known locations on the west coast.

Also check that your host file did not been manipulated.
