I just recently blew out a sub because it was clipping and I didn't hear it, so I want to make sure it won't blow out when I get the recone. I don't have the money for an oscope or do I know anyone who has one. Does annyone know how to tune it with the dmm? My bass is louder than your mom... Unhooking one does the same exact thing as disconnecting both. It cuts connection and thats all you need. Can pull one or both, wont affect anything. i resolve to be a nicer moderator. UnderLoK Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 DMM only works if you know where your HU clips and exactly how much clean power your amp puts out. Just because it's rated at 2400 watts doesn't mean it puts that out clean. It could be 500 watts, it could be 1800, 1900, 2200, 2500, 2550, 2585, 2910... I assume you aren't tuned to 38 or 40 in a pre-fab box playing tons of C&S stuff?
