Chickens 2002 Caddy, The Hoopty 8 18" Fi Btl + Rockford Fosgate (2) T15k Amps! UPDATES! IPAD AIR 2 In Dash page 335

Recommended Posts

actually i think some Euro guys did over a 160 with their high tuned "bassracer" as well. We can save that for a new topic though.

I have a few more pics of the Caddy but nothing to show just yet. Saturday,I went out on the river with a 3 man raft (to myself), (4) 24oz Tall cans of Bud Ice, and a tall can of Sparks (among other stuff). Oh, and a bag of Chili Fritos. :D

Needless to say, i had a LONG 6 hour day floating. It was fun but the day grows long out in the sun and when i got home my plans to work on the Caddy were replaced with straight CRASHING and snoozing from 6pm till the next day. I got some stuff done sunday, just more bracing. Ill post pics when its worth posting.

as you can see, it is close quarters in here, very uncomfortable to work in.......well being in the 215lb and up club dont help.

thanks for recognizing Roscoe.....not many people can see that just those 4 2x3's took hours of time to put in. I had to countersink the screws on the side so the screws themselves would reach the 45 degree angled piece and pull it in tight. Then i had to run screws into the top piece upwards (every 6") Fastening from the inside out is tough and takes time especially if you are using a screwgun and only the 1 angle will work or you strip the head out. Then you have the glue, which ALWAYS gets everywhere :D....then the piece ALWAYS has to fall at least once, with glue on it, before i get it in place. Its the life of working solo i tell ya! the kids help but thats just small stuff.......

anyway, its after work work for me so from 6pm till 9pm comes fast but i do what i can.....Saturday and sunday i usually get a solid 10-14 hours in but i slacked on saturday and went rafting so im behind the schedule that i dont have hahha.

well there's 26 pages for this topic and i think we will see up to 40 on the project or even more LOL. Great work so far man I would hate to have to hold up them 18's in that tight of space and have to screw them in at the same time.
