Forevrbumpn Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 Damn, those A-Pillars look sick. Man, the hoopty is gonna be a 2 seater concert on wheels. Right On. 2 seater concert? Try a 2 seater DEAF chamber lol.... Man I cant wait to hear this thing Meade, I know you wont answer till tomorrow, since your gonna go kick it with chicken, but Are the A-Pillars, and doors going to be on different networks? or all wired together? It would be good to be able to adjust volumn from doors to A Pillars to get that imaging just right... either way, awesome seeing how many speakers going in this thing Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
jmsonoma03 Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 took the doors to my upholstery guy.......next week i get pricing on some black leather and hopefully he can start real soon. After sanding on those, for some reason i decided to start the A pillars. I told myself i wasnt gonna touch them till after the doors were done but something came over me... Rockford Power 5 1/4 componant set.... no resin tonite...im about to go get some bran new socks and draws........a new white Tee right out of the package and head up to Chickens to party those pillars are going to be bad ass . so im assuming you resined the pillar first to make a soilid base for the new pods right. as soon as i see how its done right i want to try and make some for my truck. He most likely did the same thing he did for the doors which is his "new" way suggested by Ray of Audio Innovations: Contact cement a cloth/fabric to the panel 1st and let it dry...then resin it again and that dry so the resin of the outer shell has something to "grab" onto other than the non-stick surface of the panel. But I'm sure he'll correct that^^ (if im misunderstanding the procedure myself) tomorrow morn.
