Those plugs ARE pertty G, man.

Looked like 4x3pins in each one....that's 12 pins each...24 pins in the 2 plugs....11 speakers in each door is 22 leads (11+'s, 11-'s)...24-22=2 lefty's....so just leave 2 empty? or somethin planned for those?

Just curious.

Where they from? ...If I may ask, & how much they run?

I don't think i'd ever need that many but extra info never hurts.

Lookin clean as hell bro, keep it up.

your math is good :D ill probably just leave the remaining 2 that im not using out....thats the beauty of these. YOu make your own pins, pop them in whatever holes you want and they have little barbs on them where they go in but they dont come out (without a tool which i also got). Anyway, with this many speakers in one door, i was having nightmares of having to pull the panel off for some reason and have to dismantle everything in order to do it. Now, Two of these plugs and its off :D (oh, to answer your question, Parts Express is where i got them)

its pretty cool you guys noticing the benefits to what im doing because i wasnt sure if i should post pics.....i mean its like "ok, more wires thanks"...but its so much tedious work that i figured screw it, its SOME sort of update :D I still have lots to do and i wont be able to do the "male" ends until i actually wire the door up. Tonight after work im gonna get right back at it.....its a shit ton of wires but if i stick with it, and chip away at them, it will be over soon :D

Steve, that connector setup you have there is beautiful, I think this is the first time I'm wowed. I know its a small thing compare to the whole setup but....

thanks...ya sometimes the little stuff makes the biggest difference IMO. Theres lots of stuff in this truck that isnt the focus of the install that im proud of....lots of it will go unnoticed but at least I WILL know :D

awesome idea steve, you are always coming up with something new.

i learn from my mistakes, or i try to......and part of learning from mistakes is also making life easier on yourself the next go-round. Theres lots of stuff im learning just from this install NOT to do again....some things on every project i do i tell myself "dont do that shit again" :D
