There isnt a single POPULAR forum out there that isnt full of them....there is good and bad advice all over the internet. Better noobs than trolls. Nice work on the new tower-sub enclosures. we were all a noob at one point. some have "trolled" SMD for a few years before they joined...... its just part of growing. Some good advice some bad advice. Its just the way it is. I bet if i made a forum and made it to where ONLY those with great knowledge could be members......it would only be a matter of time before they were at eachothers throats because in the end, EVERYONE thinks they are right. SOTM is not a popularity contest, people vote for whoever they think is the best. Ive noticed that people who lose, usually get pissed and then use the "popularity" card as an excuse. Then again, if someone is POPULAR here they might have a better chance.........mainly because they did something to become popular, like have a GREAT BUILD, or a GREAT SYSTEM and they posted lots of pics/vids which led to that popularity. When someone like Trippi wins, its not because we all think he is cool or has a nice personality, its because the system is AWESOME. Maybe he is popular because he has a couple hundred thousand views on his thread and that never hurts. So far we have givin away Thousands of dollars in equipment and i even put forward Cash when there is no sponsor - leave it to you to try to talk some shit about something and bring it down, just because YOU dont like it. as for the OP: the mods and admins here are not your personal tech service. They are here to keep the peace, they dont even have to ever post if they dont want to. The more popular one of the mods is, the less likely you will get a quick response if at all. Its nothing personal, sometimes people dont feel like responding to 50 emails. When one guy asks one question and thats it for the month, its no big deal. When you get 100 a day, its impossible and some feelings are gonna get hurt........its just the way it is. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
