basshead4life
Not hating just want to get some feedback here, but they both got 2 coils, 2 magnets and moving same cone area. ones hated like no tomorrow the other praised like gods. Socky
Isobaric is used for home-theater use. You mount them in floors/walls/ceilings. They are meant for like 20+ cubes, and are not meant for subwoofer boxes. They have to be in something to separate the subwoofer waves. The SMD is a car audio subwoofer designed for sound quality. But able to take extreme abuse. They work well in small boxes and large ones. Correct me if im wrong please what you first ralk about was infinate baffle woofers. and what i was always told was that isobaric was pointless because it was using 2 coils and 2 magets to move a said cone area, but when separated they could move twice as much air with the same power. The SMD AA sub just seems to be following this rule. Team_DC-Derrick
its just a way of loading not a box the way of loading is a push pull configuration, I understand that. its still both, a enclosure and a way of loading, but its not a sub if how the OP wrote it, makes it seem like it is a sub The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall.......
