Best Bass Headphones available?

Recommended Posts

I like my Bose noise cancellation Headsets.

Ive read that most bose headphones dont pick up the HIGH highs or the LOW lows, mostly midbass and some highs.

Beats by dre are pretty sick. I've been interested in finding something more superior than them. They have so much bass the cushions actually bounce against your head..... Only problem with the Beats is they are uncomfortable for long periods of time. Bose don't even compare. I've heard bose and I'm not even slightly impressed by their in ear headphones.... An EQ on the computer and a $5 set of headphones has the ability to sound like the bose in ear.

I'll be the frist to say that most of Bose stuff is absolute junk for the price, BUT the battery powered noise canceling ones are absolutely amazing...

Those Beats by dre sound like a $1 of walmart ear buds except they vibrate on your head as if you put a playstation control vibrator inside them.... Sound like garabge...

Bowers and Wilkins P5, I've had Bose for years, borrowed Dre's for a week (they're just cheap feeling and sounding), even had Audio Technica ATH-W5000's for a summer while a rich friend was in Iceland. Overall the audio technica did have the best sound but at 1400 a pair they aren't reasonable, the next best are the Bowers and Wilkins P5's and that's what I have now. They don't have any fancy noise canceling technology but they have actual drivers and are made from metal and new zeland sheep leather and sound and feel awesome. Specs here:

Current Systems:

2011 BMW 335i

Hertz HDP1

DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber

2002 Acura Tl
Kenwood DNX9980HD
2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 Coils
DC 3.5k
Hertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 Rear
Hertz HDP4 Amp
DC Power Engineering 260 Amp Alt
Big 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0
XS Power D2400 Up Front

i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch...

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and "mini reviews" on the Dre headphones.

I personally like the DJ headphones

Ive been using some Sony MDR-V700 for years now and love them.

http://www.pssl.com/Sony-MDRV700DJ-DJRemix-Headphones

I mainly use them for gaming and listening to music on my computer (have no need for a computer speaker package with a sub).

I got these headphone amps from a home receiver and they get very loud, clean, and low.

If your looking at headphones for bass response, dont get anything that uses a diaphragm speaker (which is what you will find in some $5 pair of cheap headphones.

Theres a pair of Pioneers I really want but cant see spending the 300ish on them.
